EL MATRIMONIO (written in English Language)

I prefer to marry with a person who is very different to me, than a person who has a similar personality from mine.

All that I can say is I am a single woman and I have never got married with any person, but it does not necessarily means that I do not know what marriage is all about. There is some aspects that gives to the marriage not only a very clear perspective, but also a genuinly misterious spectrum at the same time.

For example, when you "click" with a person at first sight, it does not implies that you fell in love with that person, because according to my criteria it is almost impossible to fall in love with if you have not seen and aprecciated yet in the other some of the qualities and manners that you intrinsecally wants to have to be more comfortable and confident with yourself.

That is what we call complementery personalities and I tell you why: when you decide to marry with somebody for any reason (both are in love with each other, economical convenience or familiar arrangement), you have studied first the situation as a couple to be sure of taking the relationship to the next level, and one of the main things that you realize is there are a sort of things that you have not but the other has, and makes you both a potential solid union if not different and unique, except in the cases where the relationship were always based from violent and abussive patterns form the beginning so; those are some of the risks that you take when you marry to someone at the end of the day. After all, marriage is not only an arrangement, but also a bussiness, a SOCIETY.

Speaking of societies, when you decide to get a partner to develop a society, for the most of the cases, you have at least two partners and one of them have much to offer than the other one to their union, but at the same time the partner in apparent disadvantage have perhaps a sort of qualities or influences that could play to their favor to make it work. The same criteria applies to marriage and, for me, that is the best kept secret of a good marriage, because both husband and wife has so much to offer to the relationship to make it enhance and make it last through the time, because thinking about marry to a person who has always the same type of interests, desires and character than yours and believes that it could be a good partnership is a complete waste of time.

That is why I prefer to marry someday with a person who compliments me always, instead of a person who has the same type of personality than mine. After all, what a BORING would be to marry with a guy like me.
